The gollar will be a combi- nation of these two. I didn't want a black one and there were some grey scraps I could use. The piping will be dark green and the lining bright orange. Fun, fun, fun!
Made the pattern using Dorothea's as a model. Cut the lining and the cover. Sewed the cover pieces.

Didn't have matching silk thread for the stripes so had to go and buy some.

Pressed the seams open.

Where did the time go?! Wasn't it September a moment ago?
Cut the strips from green wool, sewed one edge of the wider stripe.

Finished sewing the wider stripe and sewed the narrow stripe.

Sewed the lining seams and pinned the lining to grey fabric before leaving for the airport. Sewed the lining to the grey at the event in the evening.
Things I need to work on:
- front opening angles are wrong;
- the slope of the shoulder seams is wrong.
