Wrapped my leg in packing tape over newspaper to make a pattern. Tested a few different ways to develop the pattern.
Cut out the pattern pieces and transferred them to newsprint. Cut out the pieces from the fabrics and sewed the top foot strips together.

Sewed the right leg strips into a tube and attached the foot to it.

Ripped out the seam around the foot, center top foot and the center front leg seams. Modified the pieces and sewed the seams again.
The hose now fit in the foot, but the shin needs further alterations. I have to rip the front center seam again and fix it. Became thoroughly disgusted with the whole project and tossed it aside.

What must be done, must be done and if I want the hose, I must fix the pattern. Adjusted the pattern and sewed the left leg strips together. Have decided to leave the back seam open to see if it is easier to sew down the foot seam allowances that way.

Finished the left hose and fixed the right one.
