There is a lot of variety in Landsknecht female headgear — caps, wraps, berets, big plate hats, slashed, poufed and feathered.

In these woodcuts alone there are six different headcoverings, there were even more in the middle woodcut, but I had to make a selection.

I've decided to try my hand in only three — linen coif-cap, knit beret and big plate hat. These three all use different methods of manufacture and should prove a nice challenge to figure out.
