1550-1570, the golden age of the glamorous Venetian gown; the era of Titian and Veronese in art. I chose this time because of the distinctive ladder-laced V in the bodice.

The clothing styles before didn't have this feature and the development of the style in the 70's and 80's exaggerated it to enormous proportions. I chose the graceful lines of the 50's and 60's.
