Why?

Portrait of a Woman by Paolo Veronese; 1555-1565

It's all Jennifer's fault. Honest! I could resist her making these magnificent italian and Flemish clothes. I had to work hard, but I prevailed. All this was for naught when she begun her Venetian gown.

My determination to stick to Burgundian style had already taken a blow from my native Estonian clothes. When I saw Jennifer's fabulous recreation of my very favorite Venetian painting, my determination was nowhere to be found. I had but one choice — to sew some dresses myself.

Thank you for inspiration, Jennifer!
