Anneke Lyffland is a daughter of a wealthy Revalian merchant from 1460's-70's. She is usually seen copying the fashions of Burgundian nobility or wearing humble maid kirtles of Flemish style. Occasionally she dresses in her Estonian servant's clothes as a jest to annoy her father.

Through the quirks of Mother Nature a girl in 16th century Venice is a spitting image of Anneke. She is being schooled in the arts of coutresans. Her name is Anna, but everybody in the Kingdom of Drachenwald calls her Anneke out of habit.
