I haven't sewn for a few weeks and feel the time slipping away. It is five weeks till the event and I'm determined to make it. So I've begun on the dress/outer garment itself.

The flashy clothes will be sewn from plum and red wool. The slashes and poufs will be lined with white linen of divers weights.
